Fredreka L. LeVias, MSSW LCPAA
Director of Foster Care Adoption and Process Improvement
As the Director of Foster Care, Adoption and Process Improvement, Fredreka is responsible for quality service oversight of the Foster Care and Adoption program teams. This role includes responsibility to system-wide quality process improvement efforts at Arms Wide. Fredreka is committed to being sure that, always and in any arena, the focus of children’s right to safety and care is the high-level priority.
Why I started with Arms Wide:
It is beautiful to see children find safety and freedom to heal from abuse and neglect. It is also amazing to see children become a part of a family that is committed to their best interest for life. I am excited to be part of the Arms Wide’s mission of transforming the lives of children in need of safe and nurturing foster and adoptive families.
My favorite part about my job:
I appreciate the culture of the Arms Wide team and am inspired by the work my colleagues do every day
My least favorite part:
It’s sad to see the number of children still in need of a loving home.
More about me:
I am from Louisiana. I am married with one son, who is everything! My husband and I enjoy working in the yard, binge watching TV and spending time together as a family. We are mostly home bodies and love to hang out on our backyard patio when the weather is nice.

Sexual Abuse Prevention & Response! Why it is everyone’s job!
For something lighter ask me about Audiobooks and HOUSEPLANTS!!! I am a perpetual learner and can always be caught with a book or podcast on my earbuds. I love to garden though I am still learning a lot. In my head I plan to become a Master Gardener one day but for now if I can keep the current plants alive, I am winning!
