Each holiday season, Arms Wide conducts a gift card drive in greater Houston and South Texas called Blizzard of Giving. Gift cards collected during Blizzard of Giving are used as holiday gifts for older children involved in our foster care and adoption programs. Any additional gift cards left over after holiday presents are distributed are given to families in crisis throughout the year to help with emergency expenses.

Gift cards from Target, Walmart and Amazon tend to be the most versatile and useful for Arms Wide’s families. American Express/Visa gift cards are wonderful and incredibly versatile, too. Gift cards of any denomination would be much appreciated by our children and families!
