Indira Garcia
Senior Post Adoption/Post Permanency Case Manager
As a Senior Post Adoption/Post Permanency Case Manager, Indira finds solutions to most issues that arise after a child has been permanently placed with a family. Her goal is to do everything possible to make sure the child stays with the permanent family.
Why I started with Arms Wide:
I love working with families! I worked with CPS for over 19 years in different stages of services, Investigations, Conservatorship, and Family Based Services. I had my longest time in FBSS because I enjoyed working with families and linking families to services. I also worked with Head Start Birth to Five program with Parent, Family, Community Engagement for a few years. My friend and previous co-worker inspired me to join Arms Wide and felt this would be a great fit! I am excited to begin a new chapter with Arms Wide.
My favorite part about my job:
I enjoy seeking and learning about community resources in rural areas in which I work. I enjoy making connections with community members and linking families to those resources.
More about me:
I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time in my yard and traveling. My husband and I have been married for 26 years. We have 2 children, 1 grandson and 1 pet (Boston Terrier—Zues).
Ask me about:
Ask me about my travels, garden, and Zues!
