Rachelle Webster, LMSW, LCPAA
Director of Compliance, Post Adoption and Post Permanency
As the Director of Compliance, Post Adoption, and Post Permanency, Rachelle Webster, LMSW, LCPAA, makes sure Arms Wide is in compliance with state contracts. She mediates and troubleshoots when issues arise and has the ultimate responsibility when it comes to child placement and child safety. Shelly earned her undergraduate degree in sociology at West Texas State University. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work.
Why I started with Arms Wide:
I was initially attracted to Spaulding for Children (now known as Arms Wide) because of the resources they offer to adoptive families. Particularly, the post adoption support. I began here as the manager of the post adoption program.
My favorite part about my job:
Working with people, whether it’s the families we help or my amazing coworkers.
My least favorite part:
Sometimes the regulations we face can be frustrating. They can almost seem like a Catch-22.
More about me:
I worked for Child Protective Services for 25 years in various capacities. This allowed me to be very familiar with the system structure. Now, I’m always looking for resources to help families.
