Director of Development

As Director of Development, Erin leads fundraising, marketing, and communications strategies. Driven by her passion for helping children across all communities, she works to raise both awareness and critical funding in support of Arms Wide’s mission to transform the lives of children in need of safe, nurturing, and permanent families.

Why I started with Arms Wide:

I was drawn to Arms Wide because of their unwavering commitment to giving every child a safe, loving, and permanent family. As someone who has always believed in the power of connection and community, I saw Arms Wide as a place where I could channel my passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of children and families. The mission resonated deeply with me, not just as a professional in nonprofit development, but as a human being who believes every child deserves a place to call home.

My favorite part about my job:

I love connecting with our donors and community partners, helping them see how their support is making a difference in our communities. There’s something special about bringing people together for a common purpose and watching generosity turn into something life changing.

My least favorite part:

The hardest part of my job is knowing there are still so many children waiting for safe, permanent homes. It’s a reminder that there’s still so much more to do, but that’s also why I’m here. It pushes me to keep building connections, raising support, and advocating for every child who deserves a loving family.

My husband and I have been married for 14 wonderful years and are proud parents of two energetic boys who keep us busy! In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, planning new adventures, and creating lasting memories with my family.
