Why I started with Arms Wide:

Arms Wide has given me the opportunity to work with families and children to be able to provide them with services and resources that will help them be successful. Since I began college, I knew that I wanted to work with children and do what I can to assist them in their transition to adulthood.

My favorite part about my job:

Getting the opportunity to engage with potential foster families and provide them with the necessary training.

My least favorite part:

Knowing that there are so many children in foster care who have experienced trauma and that there are not enough foster homes to take them in.

More about me:

I have been in the social work field for about six years now and I have enjoyed being with the children that we serve daily. I, myself, am a mother to a beautiful baby girl and two very feisty cats! I enjoy spending my free time with my family and reading a good crime series!
